Talent Show
Hello there! I've got a lot of pots on the stove at the moment and most of them are simmering. Here's a tasty scent of things to come: a few more story sketches of Toilet-face. Much more to come!

Semi-formal
When we last left Toilet-face and his misbegotten autumnal adventures, things were about as low as they could get. Things get a little lower still in these new sketches! But no fear, things just might turn around for him. And I just might finally finish this project!

I'm developing an assortment of new comics around a theme (more on this later!) and wanted to get in the groove, so I made this one-pager as a way of diving in. I've been totally enamored with these really wacky Hostess comic book ads from the late 70's and early 80's ever since a friend sent them my way (thanks Mark!), and I've really wanted to make some sort of homage myself.

I couldn't resist bringing Toilet-face in for something akin to the Archie ads, but with, you know, a slightly darker twist before the inevitable ending.

Cold Front
I haven't shared any of my sketches from my long work-in-progress Autumn project, so let's do that now!
This story's been getting back burnered by lots of other projects for the past few months but we're getting places. It's not as fun writing the nadir of the story as it is the peaks and climaxes!

As always, these are of course just thumbnails and are accordingly rough. I'm mostly posting them to give an ongoing look at my story-sketching process.
