To Flash, or not to Flash?

This is a little illo I whipped up for Noble Desktop, to accompany an item discussing Flash's current place in web design limbo. Makes me want to draw some really ponderous dandies and fops.

Party!

I was asked to do an illustration for a party invitation at work. You may remember the save the date I also did for this event.
It appears as though drawing crowds of hipsters is slowly becoming one of my new specialties. Check it out!
Bonus drawing! I made a lil' beer for the icon on the invite webpage.

Psst

I made this illustration for a "Save The Date" announcement for Noble Desktop, an excellent little design school I just so happen to work at. Noble will be having a 20th anniversary party this November, and for the "Save The Date" I drew up this little number:

Turnaround on this was whip-fast, and I had a lot of fun with it. My boss had the idea of a guy tucking the date away in his trenchcoat, and I had fun taking that and making my work look a little noir-y.

Sketches:

I was really happy with the second sketch, so I actually blew it up and inked over it, making my few adjustments in ink rather than re-pencilling.
