Bruegelscape

These are some color variants on an illustration I started last semester and finished just recently. I was looking at a lot of prints by Pieter Bruegel, especially his series based on the seven deadly sins, and man was he blowing my mind. I wanted to create a landscape as strange, partly unattractive, and engrossing as his. Well, I'm no Bruegel (But who is? Well okay, maybe Bosch was first) but here you go:
