Comic-book cats dogs and mice, part two

My comic-book animals find their final form in a modernized tribute to funny animal books. You can consider it a companion piece to my previous post on Gravity's Rainbow, what with the madcap violence echoed throughout the novel and the synchronous eras involved- the golden age of funny animal books being right at hand with the WWII setting of GR.

Dancing on the cinders

I decided to rework my lamp-post drunk a little bit. The idea here is to represent the sort of madcap, unorthodox, reckless abandon many of the characters in Gravity's Rainbow throw into their wartime activities. The background has been changed up to represent London during the blitz a little bit better, and less referential to the book cover.

Go and get your riot gear / Swing your girlie all around!

Here's six more pages! I've got over 50 pages written of this project now, and I'm excited because I have a lot more I want to write. I'll be even more excited when I can finally start taking things to final, of course!

Toilet-face continues

Ok! So TF is back on track. I might still go back and fill in earlier areas with more but for now we're picking up where we originally left off, as TF is picking up the pieces.

It's been a while since I've posted any development on my ongoing Toilet-face comic. Well, it's fall again, so it only seemed natural to get some of them going and posted again! These six pages fit throughout the October chapter that I've posted most of already.

Mike always tells the best stories! Mike was visiting the other day, helping pose for some new paintings of Laura's, and while he regaled us with some of his tall tales he got sketched.
